This unique piece is felted with sensational shades of Schiaparelli pink, fushia, and raspberry felted wool and golden yellow patterned sari silk. By by mixing just a little white into magenta, designer Elsa Schiaparelli caused a sensation in the late 1930s and continued with full force through the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, with other couturiers such as Adrian, Charles James, Balenciaga, and Galanos following suit. And then, of course, there's Barbie. Pink is powerful, intoxicating, and delicious in this statement making scarf.
